How To Fix Skyrim Alt Tab Mouse

#21

I am having the same trouble with this mod equally Zonteck. I accept been using SBW for some time, and that *sometimes* happens; when I use your mod it *always* happens. I don't know why that is, because the SBW function should exist the same, unless you are using a modified SBW.exe file. Is there any setting you lot tin can contrive that tin can avoid this trouble, other than skipping SBW entirely and going directly to SKSE? I really wait forward to using your mod considering information technology is a great idea, if it can be made to work properly.

Thanks for this. I've been livestreaming Skyrim, which you have to do windowed, and this stock-still that abrasive double-mouse affair right up. I downloaded it last Tuesday and I've been using information technology ever since and it works fine (except for a rough start when I realized my SKSE was out of engagement). Endorsed!

When I was looking for this modern to leave my endorsement I couldn't find it at first. I bet if y'all included "borderless window" somewhere in the championship of this modernistic you lot would reach more users, ex "Borderless Window Alt-tab Mouse Prepare" or something. Just a idea!

I figured it out. I sent a shortcut from the lauch.bat file to the desktop, then after clicking the shortcut and authorizing SBW (requiring administrator approval to run), all I have to practise is click anywhere on my desktop and the problem does not occur. An odd little procedure just information technology ever works!

I'thou experiencing both problems described here, sometimes when launching Skyrim the window gets cut off into a small segment in the upper left corner of the screen (I have never experienced this with SBW before), and sometimes when exiting the game, or tabbing out, I don't go my mouse cursor dorsum, which sometimes requires logging off or restarting to fix.

In combination, these issues take on several occasions led me to the post-obit scenario:
I launch & get out the game 3-5 times because of the cut off issue, after which I need to restart / log off considering your program has completely swallowed my mouse cursor.

This is quite a shame really, considering I beloved to tab out of the game during loading screens and such, and your program is the simply matter that'd enable me to do so without having the windows cursor in my face after.

Hey,
It shouldn't happen, but if your cursor does get hidden and doesn't come back after quitting skyrim, get to your skyrim folder and delete the file mouse.lck, then the cursor should reappear.
As for the sbw outcome, I dunno tbh, I'll add a version to this page which doesn't use sbw.
Also, something which may be happening is when you switch out you may be reflexively closing the cmd.exe window that the script is running in - I've defenseless myself doing this a few times :P

I figured out a set without needing the modernistic. For me at least anyway. When I start the game and desire to alt-tab, I exercise then. And then when I want to get back in the game...instead of clicking on the Skyrim Icon, I just simply concur downwardly alt and tab my fashion dorsum to Skyrim. For me the windows mouse cursor completely disappears :). Hope this helps someone.

P.Due south. Thanks for the mod though man. I just had to find a simpler way to fix my issue XD.

@wheybags Oh okay, I see, thanks. My mouse cursor doesn't really disappear when my skyrim crashes ona ccident when I alt-tab a lot. The problem is that when I alt-tab too much out of skyrim and go dorsum in, the game crashes and sometimes this mod'southward script doesn't change to make my mouse show on desktop. Fifty-fifty if I ctrl-alt-del it, my windows cursor however won't evidence up. And information technology did took me quite a scrap of fourth dimension to see what I'm clicking on 'cause I had to windows-e and get to my skyrim folder to run launch.bat and it fixed information technology. Everything is fine now, so hopefully it won't happen again :)

Well information technology's a expert thing you lot made this mod for others that have your system specs :D.

P.S. You should accept more endorsements by now XD. This mod is Awesome for people with your specs :). I'm endorsing anyway even though I don't apply it now because this takes out a MAJOR annoying factor for others XD.
